You get warm, and your body heats up! Here’s where water steps in, helping to cool that dashing body of yours.
Water Fuels Your Muscles
If you’ve ever felt your muscles cramp during a workout, there’s a good chance it wasn’t because your muscles were rebelling against the burpees. It may have been because you weren’t properly hydrated! Water helps keep your muscles running smoothly. Think of it like oil in a car—it keeps everything running without a hitch.

So, How Much Water Should You Drink?
Well, everyone’s needs are different. But a good starting point is to try and drink half your body weight in ounces each day. So, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should aim for about 75 ounces of water a day. Make sure to drink more on days you workout or if it’s really hot out.
