Here’s a simple guide about how to build a weekly meal plan that fits the busy life of a woman on the move.

Schedule your Meal Prep Time

Your time is precious, but trust us, setting aside a few hours each week to meal prep will save you LOADS more time in the long run!
Tip: Do it on a weekend when you can make it a fun and relaxing part of your routine. Try a Sunday morning, your favorite tunes on, and let’s get cooking.

Get to Know your Macros

Those calories you count? They’re made up of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates: your macronutrients, or ‘macros’ as we like to call them. Depending on your fitness goals, you might need more of one and less of another, so it’s essential to understand them.

Write Down your Menu

Planning ahead is key for success! Once you know your macros, you can start to decide what foods will help you nail them. Write out a menu for each meal and snack for each day. It sounds like a lot, but remember, it doesn’t have to be gourmet – simplicity is your best friend here.

Make a Shopping List

Based on your menu, write your shopping list and stick to it. You’ll find it’ll help you resist those tempting treats and stay on track.

Bulk Cook

Once you got your ingredients, it’s time to prep! Cook in bulk where you can to save time. Remember, the goal here is to make eating healthy the easy choice during your busy week.

Store in Individual Portions

Once your meals are cooked, portion them out into single servings. This way all you have to do each day is grab and go.
